There are bodies in the street, still you won’t call it a war.
There are bodies in the street - Just how much will we ignore?

This passive observance with running commentary
Doubles as collusion when the crosshairs aren’t on me.

I disassociate my life from the violence that underlays
With stunning style - late Capitalism’s rank and file.
We turn away.

We withdraw totally into our little enclaves.
Systematic violence that was long ago engraved;

It’s every week now.
It’s every day now, it’s everyday.
Building scale models of atrocities
In every heart, this all-american hate.
